ABOUT US

WHAT TO BRING

For overseas trips, including Canada and Bermuda, you will need a valid passport.  Unlike many “Inn-to-Inn” bicycle tour companies, Steve Lehman Tours has no restriction on the amount of luggage you may bring. We do, however, recommend staying within the limit imposed by the airline.  Contact the air carrier if you have a question.  Those traveling with a bicycle should have it packed in a specific bicycle box.  The bicycle box should contain no more than the bicycle, helmet, shoes, and possibly some clothing to keep the weight down. This will help prevent damage and the possiblitiy of charge for an overweight piece of luggage. Most often the bike box is considered a piece of checked baggage, but have a credit card handy in the event there is a change in policy. I have never paid an extra charge for a bike box on international flights, but have on

domestic flights, so be prepared.  At this time we only offer bike rentals on the trips to Majorca, Spain.   Cyclists should pack two complete cycling outfits with wind vest, arm and knee (or leg) warmers and a rain jacket. As people outside of the USA usually dress for dinner, you should bring “appropriate” attire. Spiffy or business casual should work, maybe even a dress or sport jacket for a special evening.  At the restaurants we select, t-shirts, jeans, running shorts or “cut-offs” would be inappropriate.

Outside of the US, Bermuda, and Canada your electric appliances and chargers won’t work as the local electric current is 220 volts. Therefore, you may decide to either leave them at home or take a voltage converter.
