For over twenty-five years I have been organizing trips for teammates and friends and have had a great time doing it. I have now taken the experience and expertise I have garnered over the years and offer some truly fantastic trips to you at a reasonable price. I am so confident in this endeavor that I have staked my name and reputation to it. But why take my word for it and select me over the myriad of tour operators out there for your next, or first, cycling adventure?
Besides being a world traveler, I am a 64-year-old, World, Pan-American and National Champion and World Record holding cyclist whose roots are in recreational cycling. So, I can relate to anyone, at any level, who has an interest in and a passion for cycling. Over the years I have developed a keen understanding of what athletes of all abilities want and need. I have at one time or another, been there, done that. I have trained and competed at all levels of fitness and experience as a tri-athlete, and track and road cyclist. I also have traveled extensively and have taken most of the “wrong turns”, so I’ve ironed them out of my trips. From the beginning of my athletic career I knew I wanted to make sport an integral part of my lifestyle. As a married individual I had to earn and keep earning the enthusiasm and support of my wife and family. So, the prime mission and philosophy of Steve Lehman Tours is to provide experiences that are rewarding to the cyclist while being an exciting benefit to their non-cycling partner.
To that end each year I put together trips to exotic areas of the globe with the benefit of non-cycling spouses and partners in mind. Since 1985 I have amassed considerable experience and success in putting together such competition and training/vacation trips for groups to the US, Canada, Europe, Bermuda, the Caribbean and Argentina.
